Winter Sun in the Canaries with Colin, Netty & Candy December 2015

Winter Sun in the Canaries

We headed straight to view “Teide” the active volcano in the middle of the Island. After driving around the winding roads we arrived at a viewing point, 2000 metres above sea level and had great views of the volcano, which last erupted in 1909.

We boarded on the “Jolly Roger” and sailed out to sea to search for Dolphins and Pilot Whales. We were lucky to see both during our trip.

A very relaxing day at the beach. We hired out sun beds and umbrellas and spent the day enjoying the sunshine..

In Aqualand we had a terrific time. Especially on the beautiful giant tree slides.

We all enjoyed watching the very clever Dolphins perform.

Sunday is market day in Tenerife and everyone was excited to go shopping and
spend some of their money.

We enjoyed a leisurely walk along the sea front whilst watching the surfers we ate a delicious ice creams.

At the "Monkey Park" we saw many different species of monkeys and there was even an enclosure that we walked through, where monkeys are hanging around keeping a keen eye on us.

On Karaoke Night, Terence was our star getting up on the stage and singing an Elvis Presley number.

Back at the hotel lounge a singer was performing, therefore we were all able to test our dancing skills.
