Winter Sun in Tenerife with Colin & Pat

The sun was calling our names as we stepped off the plane into beautiful Tenerife!

We explored the stunning heights of Mount Teide and loved walking amongst the breath-taking scenery.  We visited a lovely small bay at Las Toscas and admired the beautiful old houses looking out to sea.

We danced the warm evenings away and enjoyed tasting the fantastic local cuisine! We saw some brilliant performers who were very friendly to us.

We had a cracker of a day at Aqualand where we watched a magnificent dolphin show that made us 'ooo' and 'ahhh!'   We paddled at our leisure and relaxed on sunbeds.

We visited Puerto Santiago, Chayofa, Tamaimo which were all beautiful towns and villages. We even watched the most flamboyant festival that we had ever seen!

We saw some beautiful pilot wales when we had a scenic boat trip out to sea!

We loved our hotel and everything about our holiday and can't wait to come back next year!

Butlins Fun & Dancing with Colin & Tini

JollyDays took Butlins by storm once again for this FANTASTIC holiday!
We danced our Jolly socks off every evening to some CRACKING shows.....

Had many a' thrill at the funfair, dodging with style in the bumper cars and whirling round on the waltzers!
We MUST mention the LEGENDARY deserts - lots of very happy tummies!  We even had to stop Colin from pinching the puds!

We took a trip to the seal sanctuary where we saw the sweetest seals!  We also saw meerkats and fed the fluffy alpacas!

It was simply an all-round amazing JollyHol!

The Island of Malta with Derek & Wendy

Sun, sea, sand, swimming pools, stunning scenery and sensational skies - what more could we have wanted?!

We had such a wonderful time in Malta, taking in blissful scenery and interesting history.

Before we go on.....look at where our hotel was!

We visited some beautiful towns and villages. We went to Bulgiba where we saw fearsome sharks and stingrays being fed in the new aquarium!

We caught the bus to Sliema where we strolled the colourful prom looking at the charming
little fishing boats.

We had an incredible boat cruise where we saw many amazing historic scenes.
We loved looking at Valletta, the capital city!

One evening we watched local scouts and  guides lead a procession followed by the church clergy who carried a large statue of Mary down the hill to the Catholic church!  It was their Easter procession called "The Sorrow of Mary."

We danced in the evenings and ate the most fantastic fresh food - what a truly memorable holiday.
