New Forest Ponies and Coast with Phil, Pat & Mags

Our holiday to the New Forest was an absolute blast!  What fun we had all week seeing lots of friendly ponies!  We often stopped the Jolly Bus and opened the windows to let them say hello.  We saw many different coloured horses and their beautiful foals.  It was great to see them in their natural environment of the stunning New Forest.

We did many exciting things during our week away.  It was a very windy trip due to the storms but we managed to avoid the worst of it!  In good ol' Jolly fashion, we ventured out into the exciting outdoors!  We went to Monkey World and saw lots of monkeys in all different shapes and sizes!  We were all smitten with them, especially the orang-utans! We headed into Bournemouth on one day and enjoyed a bracing walk by the sea.  It was vibrant and buzzing and we all loved being out in the open air.  We did a spot of shopping and some of us bought gifts to take home and to remember the holiday by.  We took a lovely trip out to Weymouth where we had a leisurely wander and a scrumptious cream tea - truly delicious!  Of course we had a game of ten pin bowling whilst away, and everyone loved getting into the competitive spirit!  The entertainment in the evenings was great. We saw tribute singers and danced the nights away.

Being away for Halloween, naturally, the ladies dressed up as witches - including Mags and Pat!  We made for very scary witches and spent the day cackling incessantly!  What fun!  We ate a lot of truly hearty food whilst away for both lunch and dinner, and were always set up for the day with the usual, filling Jolly breakfasts!  Everyone agreed that it was a super holiday and wanted to come back next year!
