Excited and raring to go, we set off for our holiday to Potters! We stopped for lunch on the way at a delightful little craft centre, where we chatted and got to know each other a little better. It was John's 78th birthday so we celebrated with cake and presents at dinner time! What a way to see in the holiday!
We got up to some really fun stuff during the week! After a hearty breakfast each morning, we set off for our daily activities. We played several passionate games of Hoy bingo! Everyone loved it and were so excited to be part of such an intense game! We enjoyed lots of games of Kurling during the week - we even won it once! We played darts, ten pin bowling, pool and snooker! We headed into Great Yarmouth one morning for a leisurely amble and to breathe in the fresh sea air. We dipped into a few shops and some of us bought gifts & souvenirs to take home!
The entertainment throughout the week was absolutely fantastic, as always. The entertainment team put on very professional shows and we all sang and danced along!
