Norfolk Broads with Colin, Pat & Mags

Our week on the Norfolk Broads started in the customary way of all meeting up and having lunch at a country pub, all getting to know each other.
The accommodation that we use on the Broads is so convenient for the many activities that we get involved in during the week and we only have to walk to the dock at the bottom of the garden to get access to many different boats that we use.
We are helped during the week by the qualified instructors based at our accommodation and this week was no different to any other. Even though we had to account for a pretty bad weather forecast, we were able to get out cruising, rowing and sailing on several occasions, all without getting wet !!!
During the week we ate out at a number of different country pubs, both in the evenings and for lunch when we stopped during our day long cruise. The weather didn't stop us having a BBQ either which everyone enjoyed.
We also kept busy having a day trip out on the Steam train from Holt to Sherringham, an evening at the greyhound racing and another evening 10 pin bowling.
Everyone had a good time, especially those that had not been on a boat before and all promised to return again next year !!
